Our Founder

CRE Shoppe is the brainchild of Rick Lahkar, a licensed California real estate broker since 2005 with deep, hands-on experience across the commercial real estate spectrum. Over the years, Rick has worn multiple hats—as a commercial property owner, buyer, seller, and broker—giving him a firsthand understanding of the challenges and choices faced by CRE property owners.

Rick recognized a clear gap in the market: property owners needed flexibility. Some wanted to sell their properties independently, while others preferred full-service brokerage representation. In response, he created CREMarketplace.com, a self-service platform for owners who want to sell on their own, and aligned with eXp Commercial, one of the most innovative and technology-driven commercial real estate brokerages in the industry, for clients seeking professional representation. He also identified the need for a dedicated e- commerce destination for CRE-related merchandise and branding, leading to the launch of CREmerch.com.

Together, these platforms form the foundation of CRE Shoppe—a true one-stop destination for commercial real estate.

Paul Frank has been a commercial real estate developer, contractor, and broker since 1986, with experience spanning millions of square feet of projects across the United States and internationally. His career encompasses every phase of the real estate cycle, including development, construction, acquisition, disposition, and brokerage, enabling him to provide strategic insight and disciplined execution on complex transactions. Paul brings a leadership-driven, results-oriented approach to every engagement. He lives on a ranch with his wife, Cindy, and enjoys traveling and spending time with their two grown children, Beau and Olivia.

Samir (Sam) Chopra

Samir (Sam) Chopra is a globally recognized real estate and business leader with extensive experience in real estate brokerage, franchising, and transaction advisory services.
